November meeting

What a fantastic talk and workshop we had this month with Hazel Ryder.  The quilts we saw ranged from one of her earliest which was a nine patch which she had made using English Paper Piecing to one made to commemorate her husband and his beautiful lips, full of wonderful words which she had machine quilted all over.

Those on the workshop came away with lots of hints and tips on applique where there are overlapping pieces, using photographs to help design quilts and many others.  The pictures today show some of our work in progress and Hazel’s work.ptdc0003ptdc0002ptdc0006nov1
